Yet another GREAT day !!!!
Discussion
Stef and I had a cracking day, and hmmmm that Pie
The sound of Dom's Porker was covering the bassy exhaust note of Guy's Ultima on the way down form Basingstoke I didn't know a Porsche could sound this good.
As for all the exotic machinery parked on the Beach, I think I'll be a while before some many tasty cars come to Hayling Island.
Cheers all special thanks to .mark and Don for a great day.

Thanks to Don and .mark...great day. Brilliant road from Basingstoke to the Ship.
.mark, sorry we couldn't stay until the end of the golf, I was worried about the Cerb getting back in one piece
Who was it in the black Carrera 4 that I followed from Basingstoke and then followed me back to the A3? Sorry we didn't get to speak. Nice motor.
Looking forward to seeing you all again at BT&P. Mrs DavidP (Gerry) must have been at a diferent meet.....she reckoned everyone was really nice

Other quotes of the day (names withheld to protect the guilty):
Woman to partner (talking about the lead singer of the band at the Inn on the Beach): "What were you doing looking at her ankles anyway?"
Partner: "Well, I'd finished looking at her tits!"
"So does that make CarZee's Nissan a Portaloo?"

Guys/Gals,
Thanks for making a great day, competition results as follows:-
3rd Don - some stickers
2nd Keith - some more stickers
1st Jarcy - PistonHeads Polo
Special award goes to Jarcy's son Adam (age 7)with a round that beat 4 other 'grown ups' - another sticker. Also for the classic lines of 'Dad when are we going to eat something?' and 'How fast is that car then Dad?' a true PistonHeader of the future!
More stickers allowing I could have awarded the following prizes from my own round:-
Bob the Planners mate Tony, who succesfully managed to clear 3 fairways with one drive from the tee.
Bob himself stands for 2 extra awards:
firstly for ending up on the green of the 7th hole from the tee - great but we were playing the 8th!
secondly for slicing the ball at about 75 degrees off centre, missing my daughters head by inches and sending the ball flying through a headge!
And possibly an award for CarZee who felt too distant from his beer and threw the towel in half way round
Great to see all the cars especially 2 Ultimas and a Noble (although sadly mistaken by 2 passing lads as a Lambourghini (sp?)
I counted 35 cars at one point - rough value £1m!? And my daughter got pictures of most of them if you want a copy mail me with your details - and if someone can host them for me they are welcome to them too.
Once again thanks guys, especially Don, and is it a date for next year?

We went and got our clubs and cards, waited a lifetime for some numpties to finish occupying the first hole, decided enough waiting as there was another group of 7 to go before us.. so we returned the cards and clubs, then went, as you said, back to our beer...
Top day and well worth the Newmarket-London-Chippenham-Torquay-Bournmouth round trip!
Nice weather, nice food, (no more pie my arse), great cars particulary the gorgeous Nobles and both the "I can look at them all day" Tuscans, and not fogetting the great bunch of PH'ers that made the day a huge success.
Top moment for me, watching a bunch of kids making their way along the row of cars and getting to mine and asking
"Whats is it?", He said
"A Nissan Sunny" I said
"A what?" he said
"A Nissan" I said
"How much?" he said
"You cant put a price on this..." I said
"just like that Noble" I said
to which he turned to his mate and said,
"Lets go and look at the Pies"
