Did anyone else have their dust caps pinched??
...and three PH banners
I thoroughly enjoyed it otherwise. Will definitely be using that band again if possible.
Thanks to everyone for making it such a great weekend.
Just a note to add my applause for a well run event. Was great to put some faces to names, and meet up with some of the old familiars again.
The weather was a bit atrocious, but I wasn't going to let that dampen (groan) my spirits... or the destroyed Gazebo, the sleep deprevation or the numerous "drinking injuries". We had a great time. Am mentally booking the date for next year if it's held there again.
The 2CV guys are simply barmy. I've met some nutters in the car world but those lads were from a different planet. The racing was also pretty entertaining too - you have to see those 2CVs going at it to believe it!
See you at the next one

I really enjoyed it, but I wish I'd made more of an effort to meet people
That's how I felt too, but with the blummin' awful weather, we stayed holed up in Trackside Towers drinking beer. By the time we got into the beer tent, my power of speech was fading fast, let alone my eyesight.
we have just arrived home, held out till the bitter end to see who'd won...Tracey, gutted we didnt see you! went to bed at 2.30am after sitting watching the racing for ages.
Had a fantastic time, made all the better with the company of the Northants massive
highlights for me were, Getting to drive Al's 911 and Obes's Noble, both amazing cars, thanks to both of you for letting me loose with your P&J's
Nice to meet a few new people, especially the guy who wanted to smack my head in because someone spilled a drink on him don't know who did it, but it wasn't me.

Sorry I had to depart early, had some house buying business to attend to. I was due to leave Sunday morning, but i was SO Cold in my tent, I thought this for a game of soldiers and stuffed my tent and stuff in the boot and drove down south in the early hours of Saturday night. Slightly quicker than the way up
Nice to catch up with some old friends and meet a few new one's as well

We forgive you, but we need the photo of the "pissing" man.

And you didnt come along for the tunnel run?
Got back a couple of hours ago and just woken from an afternoon nap.
Thanks to everyone for making it an excellent weekend out. I agree with Corozin that the 2CV guys are absolutely bonkers but it makes for great spectating. Apologies for not speaking to as many people as I should have done.
The tent has just about dried out and I now need to get some proper food into me.

ahhh for those that packed up in the rain - you shouldda've done what we did...
sleep through it, then get up when its sunny and pack up.
I'll add my applause for a great time, Good band too, didsnt really get to speak to anyone, Cept Zordy - felt a bit out of place with having the Berlingo with us.
2CV racing was great fun to watch, other good races on during the saturday/sunday.
Tho only one thing... next year, can we have more than 1 cd on the PA? rather than repeats of 'Sounds of McDonalds Car Park'
