However I have been advised by an insider that Albert Road could be a good spot...or even a gentle, quiet lengthy booze in the picturesque Old Town....

Starting Pub however [and meeting point to begin] is currently being decided.....

You would be 1/2 mile from my home. Lots of car clubs meet at the Churchillian on Portsdown Hill (3 miles from hotel) or on Southsea sea front. There is a Trevel Inn/Lodge adjacent to the amusements by the pier on the front.

Yes, would love a pint with ya. Old Portsmouth is real nice for drinking, Albert Road OK but not so nice late at night.

I had previously been told that Old Portsmouth was a bit quiet...and Albert Road was OK...whereas
North End / Guildhall Sqr were dodge...

Whatever you local boys say - just show me the ale..
