Well done Leon! So has yours been geared for top speed? I remember Estonia saying that they did a run a couple of years ago with Car and Driver and did 213mph on the autobahn at night!

Thanks, standard gearing on this one and RWD. Ruf have had a GPS verified 363 KMH (225.56 MPH ) with standard gearing on one of their infamous autobahn runs!!

I can run Nitrous thats for sure but would challenge that speed off Nitrous, my new engine is on the Dyno next Monday, circa 800bhp expected. 215 should be possible on the gas 207 off . Is that the challenge beating 207 with my car detuned .
By the way I passed the noise limit at Brunters so why is everyone discussing my car on this thread & saying things that are not true.

Ive read on these pages mines a Nitroused totb Special , it aint its a fully trimmed road car with full carpets & sound proofing & is still used on the road & until I retired in March was to be seen in the works car park when I fancied some fun on my daily comute.Its done approx 45k in modified form.
You would get a shock at the ferocity of an old Ford .

The 0-200 was done a long time back with circa 760bhp around 22 now I suggest.

Ehh No, the F1 was the standard road car, tested by Autocar.[I have a copy of the test.And of interest, 0-200mph 1.1 miles, 28secs].
Brunters runway is currently approx 2 miles long and on Vmax days its 1.6 miles to the timing beams.

Just back from TOTB at Elvington, Joel managed to pip the 202mph Jun skyline taking the trophy on his only one top speed run, 203.9mph for the standing mile, some guys reckon thats the fastest a street car has run there over the mile distance, but i'm not sure of that fact.

With a bit of luck on his side Joel also managed to win the 1/4 mile shoot out final

Keith Cowie managed a european record breaking run of 0-300kmph (186mph) in 12.4 seconds, amazing !
