Is the guys name Jonathon Oddy (Digitec remaps)?? If so, thats exactly what im after - stage one only though. Do you have any idea of what kind of money is involved?

[skint stundent mode] Or if there might be a discount if you ask nicely enough [/skint stundent mode]

Thanks Daz.

Joust - would have liked to meet you after having seen all the bruintingthorpe/ bedford vids. Unfortunately couldnt be sure which car was yours and you probably werent around it at the time either. Can I have a Full size one emailed to me? and if possible, could I use that link for the piccy in my profile?? It shows the car off nicely and this pic has the new wheels in it!

Thanks for coming guys. It was a bit of a toe in the water for me so I was delighted with the numbers of cars there and professionalism of the exhibitors.

As I said elsewhere, there's always room for improvement so I'll be making a few notes in the morning and we'll review the good and bad points and start making plans for next year.

P.S. I didn't sort out the competition winners but will do that tomorrow...

Right now, I'm off to nurse my sunburned ankles, regret downing two Smirmoff Ices on top of 'n' pints of Guinness and sleeping in my car...

Thanks again to everyone who was there. Every single one of you played a part in making it a success. Onwards and upwards... BTaP is next...

Mega thanks to Ted & PistonFest for a fantastic event. Obviously the weather helped!

Surprise & delight feature? - Brown Beer (in cans).
Disappointment feature? - Not enough! - it ran out by about 3.30 Sunday. - next year.

Oh - and my car kept cutting out all the way home - but I did get there eventually. Need expert help from other forum.

Thanks all who contributed to an excellent weekend. I'm looking forward to next years already.

It was good to meet so many PHers and put faces to names (and a few names to faces I already knew).

Bob The Planner - Thanks for the run in the Tuscan, my first ride in a TVR. Need to get my ears checked, could be tinitus!!

No probs DAZ, Thanks for the ride in the Porsche - A fantastic piece of kit. I will give you a run when I get the CCC cans fitted - it should be a bit loader

Ted, Pistonfest,

Just like to add my thanks for a great week-end. Sunday's hang-over was nearly at "LeMans" levels!... even a little worse due to the Smirnoff Ice on top of quite a bit of Guinness

Big, big thanks for this weekend... I had a 2000km journey to go for it, and it was worth every drop of Diesel going into that slow Golf with the *ahem* Sports/Rattle-Exhaust system (guess we must have lost a bit of rubber damping the exhaust somewhere in Belgium). That show was something like a life experience to me... All those crazy but nice people, and those obsessed kids sitting in those Tod Rods... Still smiling. Greetings from Germany and I apologise to everyone I nearly killed when driving around continental style on your island :-) I am just not used to multi-lane roundabouts turning clockwise at all. Perhaps I'm getting better next time... I hope there is a next time...?

Yes, thanks for a great weekend.

Very sorry that I didn't make the most of it though.
Had the worst hay fever ever on Saturday and sneezed & blew my nose continually, getting though several boxes of tissues . Had to turn in early (11pm-ish?) as a result and missed the Saturday night festivities.

Had a crap night and spent Sunday wandering around like a zombie feeling until we called it a day mid-afternoon and drove home tanked up on Red Bull so we'd get home without falling asleep at the wheel. It worked, but only just.

Very sorry that I missed talking to so many people.
Good to talk to the handful that I did.

End of 'fest report:
"We are very disappointed with JonRB. 1/10. He must try harder next time."

I would like to echo everyone else and say thanks for a great day yesterday. I will definitely be doing the full weekend next time to get to talk to a few more people.

Hands up all the people who were, like us, outside Boots in Stratford hastily applying aftersun. I certainly have a certain glow today.

Just want to add my thanks to Ted and the crew for organising a top event. Beer, pies, great company, sunshine (sunburn!) and the divine smell of petrol - can life get any better than this?

We were only there for the Sunday, but after hearing the reports of the Saturday night, I think next year we will have to pack a tent and a few cases of !! Ted, you and your organizers did a fantastic job. What a superb event! It was great to see all the familiar faces again and to meet some new ones, too. JeremyC, glad to see you were feeling better at the end of the day and we could stop whispering Ditto Incorrigible Looking forward to the next meet, and Roll On BTaP II!
