No, I said I wouldn't till. Remember? We were in a field arguing over who was going to plough. You must remember; you were getting all crotchety because you'd run out of Um Bongo and you'd got mud on your Fireman Sam wellies.

arrr this be a reminder for ye shipmates!!!

our next adventure be fast approachin' and we badly need a healthy crew to man (or woman, lets not forget the: tea will always need making) our fleet!

we be sailin from blue-water in Essex on the 28th January, at 12pm and we'll be wanting to see you all there!!

the theme of the day is as follows:

Eeeeeere...ricky!! we be searching for the treasure of the lost innocence.

look alive pirates!! we be in trouble!! we be on an urgent quest to try and save the souls of all that dwell in this here region. the evil pirate Nash O'Nell-Ealth has taken hostage on his ship 'Teenpregnancy' all of the precious Innocence, and its down to us to get it back by following the trail of clues hes left in his wake!! are you with me?'

All pirates must come dressed in full chav-pirate regalia so that we can fit in with the locals and they wont get suspicious when we question them or board them (they do love a good boarding there 'oim told ). clues to be revealed on the internet 24hours before the event on receipt of secret password issued to all folks who've booked in advance, thus allowing an advantage over all you pirate-come-latelys.

Furthermore, in addition to the mystery prize and the opportunity to compete again next time for free, the winning team will get to finish the day doing burnouts in a stolen escort in Aldis car park, whilst all the other pirates sip from a car of diamond white muttering the word 'solid'.

all required regalia, clues and equipment will be provided, along with a map of the area were plundering and a list of swag you'll be asked to *ahem* collect. the last one was a hoot, so you'd be well advised to get on board!!

remember gang, were doing all this for charity, so unless we get a good strong registration were going to have to cancel it, and the RN LI will get nothing.

with this in mind, in order to stop all the losses (we lost a fortune when people didn't arrive, who we'd prepared stuff for and had to make up the monies from our own pockets so that the charity didn't suffer) from last time were asking shipmates to sign up and pay up in advance, so that if you cant make it or cant be bothered to get up the RN LI don't suffer.

Remember its only £12.50 a head, with a maximum fee of £25 per car (so you cram your car full if you wish), so whilst it'll mean nothing to you lot to loose it if you change your mind at the last minute it will mean a lot to the good people at the lifeboat houses around the country.

theres a booking form here www.dubloon-hoon.co.uk/sign-up.html that allows you to register, and once registered (the form takes less than a minute to complete) then we send you a paypal invoice. thats it, all done. youre registered.

Registering will allow us to prepare all your stuff. We need at least 20 participants this time gang, if not well be forced to cancel. If you have registered and we do have to cancel we will of course return your donations if you wish.

don't forget folks, we organise everything for you, all you have to do is pay up, show up and enjoy. we very much hope to see you there

sounds good.

A bit of a trek, but that weekend looks good for me so far... how much in advance does one need to sign up?
