As the driver of the R35 GTR apologies to the organizers for my one to many laps. Didnt realize it would cause such a stir and blown a bit out of proportion. In hindsight was a bit childish.
For the record i didnt drift, just accelerated on the short straight n bak. Ive seen much worse in previous PH meets - unfair to be so critical of me when nothing is said then. Not gonna moan about marque victimisation but lets not have double standards.
Anyways...enough said on that matter. It was a good day and nice to catch up and well done PH for arranging these days. As i have been banned from future meets, i guess this is good bye....

The next one will take place in August, dates to be announced in a week or so.
Thanks for coming on here Mr GT-R driver. I assure you that there isn't brand blindness here and if a Ferrari/ Evo/ Focus had done repeated laps we would be saying the same thing. Most made noise on the exit and then went on their way home - perfectly acceptable (in moderation)
The trouble lies when I am standing with the UK MD of BMW (as I was) and we are watching a couple of cars tear up and down the road, and you can see his face drop. He is imagining public complaints and police turning up when all he wants to do is give PH a free venue after us telling him that our chaps are all good blokes. I'm sure you understand what I mean....it's embarrassing and jeopardises future meets.
Anyway, you are not banned so please come along to another meet and you will be welcomed. All that was said was that if you choose to drive like that all the time then we'd rather you didn't come, but that certainly doesn't mean that you are banned

I'm sure you'll be allowed back as long as you fit a tow bar and hitch up a caravan to stop you inadvertently going too fast *In all seriousness I think most people here are just saying "let's learn from this - let's keep it a little more toned down at future events to avoid the risk of leaving a bad impression at the venues" and I've no doubt you'll tone it down at the venue next time so I don't think there's a problem .
(BTW I got a photo of your car at the previous SS at MBW, so in case you didn't spot the photo on that thread:
version 1
version 2)
* Although I suspect your car'd just rip the front of the caravan off rather than be held back

Fair point. I am writing 'Will not drive like a 'tool' on future pistonhead meets' on the blackboard repeated 100 times as we speak. Thanks for coming on here Mr GT-R driver.
