I hope Lez doesn't mind about Mr Big Bones leaning on his Ginetta. He's a bit like an RS4, nose heavy. I think my favourite car was the Daihatsu Mira, although the Spyker C8 was great too. So much variety. Thank you for organising Ben an co.

Well done PH, I thoroughly enjoyed that!! Very well organised, was expecting my Elise to get hot in a long queue of standing traffic, but it kept rolling and was very smooth, brilliant!

I liked the screen showing car / ph related stuff, added a bit of ‘atmosphere’ and helped the car juices flow….

Please ignore the negative comments, whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, how you can’t enjoy seeing such a large and varied collection of cars is beyond me?!!
You do have to ask if this is the right forum for them! For me, today encapsulated everything that’s great about PH!!

Brilliant venue!

Cheers

Imagine you turn up in a Porsche 959. One of only two Ruby Red cars built. (according to Wiki)

And less that a minutes walk away is..... Another Ruby Red Porsche 959. biggrin

Enjoyed the morning there. Thanks.
Ha exactly what me and brother thought, one was definitely more prestine than the other

I was displaying in the hot hatch section and I was a little disappointed as it was quite empty and there were lots I was looking fwd to seeing but not there. I am not sure if PH capped the cars or people simply didn’t apply but a quick tour of the performance car park and loads were in there (lancia delta, golf Gti of every era, escort cosworth, pug 205 etc) so maybe PH can offer them a spot next time!

Focus r/s mk1 was stunning and as I ran one for 7 years as a daily was delighted to see it win, congrats

Simi, great to meet you and your RS3

Was a good day, hid when it rained, Atom got wet. Car or the show for me probably the Powerflex Mini, or that road legal 917. I was fascinated with the supercharged V10 E30.

Good stuff PH people. Well done.

I enjoyed the day to day. My car was on display and I was initially worried about having to stay until 4pm but there was plenty of stuff to look at and keep us occupied.

I like the eclectic mix of cars and layout.

Loved it, great day, though escaped a little before 4pm from Readers rides.

Talked to a lot of people, didn't realize my car was as nice as i thought it was, so good to hear the compliments on the work I've put in on it.

Well deserved! You spent long enough cleaning it! I wish I'd have known who everyone was.

Very disappointed tbh. Took less than a couple of hours to see everything (and that included most of the public car park too), and whilst the photos make it look really good, cars seemed to be randomly spotted all over the place.
The big screen didn’t seem to add anything either.
Didn’t feel like it was any better than a normal Sunday Service really, but the best area was the indoor section.
Food overpriced as already mentioned (but think that’s the traders fault) and queues were very long.

£5 or possibly £10 may have made it feel better value, but at £20 (early bird) price it’s nearly the same cost as shows with some live action.
I pretty much echo this. Sorry PH, I feel a bit mean for thinking it, but you can’t help the way you feel and all that.

Queue in and out moved very quickly though, so kudos for that, even if stuff was rather randomly parked up, seemingly on whether a particular marshall deemed it “worthy” or otherwise.

The Collecting Cars event I went to there a couple of months ago was just as good, and didn’t cost £20 to get in…

It was a good day, I was hoping to see some more exotic stuff but it didn't transpire. Public car park was excellent too, spent a good 45 mins mooching around.

I was on the saloon stand but had to sneak off a little early, was easy enough around the back without causing any issues.

I'm now looking at McLaren 570 and 650S spiders.

I really enjoyed it.

In at 9 with no queues, parking within 100 metres of the entrance and had a very pleasurable amble around for a couple of hours looking at a wonderfully diverse collection of cars, the car park was good enough that I had a good walk around that too. Two nice bacon rolls helped.

Well marshalled for both arrivals and departures, I think I must have been behind BigMowley on the way out in a consecutively IoM plated GT4RS and an R8? Nice blast home up the "4100" and it even stayed dry.
Agreed, some very nice cars in the car park and some great ones on display. Is the Green and tan Z3 owner that pulled out behind me to the great displeasure of the van driver on here?laugh

On the way home, utter chaos as the M42 was closed. Queues on the diversion for miles! Good job we left early and now holed up at the Fox & Hounds at Sponston which is literally 1 minute off the M6.

Food wise we had two bottles of water, £2 each which was OK and some of the loaded fries, £7 per bowl but they were good, I wouldn't have had an complaints if that's what I was given in a restaurant. Shame the rain kept coming and going but I was quite amused at the little 'fast walk/slow jog' of the convertible owners when it started raining!

Really enjoyed the day; it was well thought out and organised by the PH gang with lots of great cars to look at both on display and in the car park. The number and variety of catering vans was well judged and anyone surprised at the prices is perhaps a little out of touch and should have brought their own packed lunch!

I went past the scene of the Aston and the Toyota that had a coming together just outside Bicester heading back towards the M40 - hope everyone is ok and it gets sorted without difficulty.

Anyone know what all the cars on the transporter were about? The Lamborghini that showed up on the Late Brake Show was on it amongst other things. Couldn’t work out why they all stayed on the lorry.

Really enjoyed the show today, probably one of the best I’ve attended for a while.

Highlights for me were walking around the various car parks spotting some hidden gems, chatting to Alfaholics about my 9 year lottery win wait and seeing the RWB 911’s up close.

Well done to Ben and the PH team!

Food is expensive at any kind of public event, if you’re a tight git then bring a tesco meal deal!?

Thanks to one and all for organising and attending!

Shame I didn’t know who anyone was!

Weather can’t be helped but that’s summer in the UK.

There was plenty of space not being used - more cars could’ve been displayed so as usual with these things - the general parking area was the most interesting.

Good crowd, great cars, great venue - nice way to spend a few hours.

I agree but I thought the carpark was the highlight. The actual show was pretty poor.

Having been to a couple of scrambles before the actual site was very sparsely populated with cars where it’s normally rammed. None of the specialists were open either.

For £20 I feel like I’ve had my leg lifted. I guess they charged the food vendors a fair bit too as their prices were steep.

Percy.

Felt like an advertising display for their transportation services to me, however they did have a flat tyre earlier on in the morning, so that could be why they stayed in the same spot.

Thank you Ben and the PH team for arranging the show. I was quite surprised to have my R34 chosen for the Readers Ride display, but very grateful too!

A great mix of cars including the public car park. Lost count of how many Porsches and GR Yaris' there were haha

Was great to see a number of cars in person rather than on my phone/laptop screen
