Thanks to everyone at PH for a great morning, my son and I thoroughly enjoyed that. It was bloody cold first thing (and quite slippery with semi slicks on!) but I'm still glad we came in the Caterham!

We set off in convoy with a mate in another Caterham (his was yellow, mine blue with white stripes) and by the time we arrived we'd been joined a lovely red E30 M3, a stunning Riviera blue 911 GTS and a very clean blue Clio 197. It's funny how easy it is to spot PH'ers going to a Sunday Service biggrin

Some great cars parked up and on track too especially the Huracan Performante Spider that was going some!
That was me in the Performante, first time out in it on track and unfortunately got black flagged twice without the opportunity to try it in the dry.

Too loud for anything but unrestricted track days - will have to take it to Spa next year.

In that case that's just pure bad luck. He really was hugging that right hand edge. Looked a beauty, so much love for those old machines.

Lovely car and big kudos to the owner for taking it on track.. looked amazing going round..!!!!!

Enjoyed the white cossie power sliding the first bend - Great to see it being used like that, and only when there were no other cars around too thumbup - even the pit lane marshalls were enjoying it - https://youtu.be/dERUHnioGck (think this was your third go - love my mates comment at the end)

We werewatching him too - first time I thought he’d had a moment and caught it with a good save - next time I watched the approach and saw he was flicking the car to set it up for a sideways full power drift through the bend - superb car control and as gewy said - yiou really have to know your car well to do that time and time again - superb effort

ETA - we were standing right by you wavey

I was out on the 11:55 session. Had a great time but that is the last time this year I’ll drive on track focused tyres ha ha

I was in the silver Clio with bright yellow wheels.

We were spectating infield at Copse, and the Escort Cosworth performing the Scandinavian - flick and then drifting around Copse was a treat, he did not always manage it, but 11 out 10 points for making a four-wheel drive car drift on tarmac.

Do we know if the driver of the crashed E92 M3 is okay?

Some nice cars in the car park also, particularly the phoenix yellow E46 M3 which had to be amongst the cars in the best of condition, along with a mint Supra, which was probably older than it’s owner ( no offence intended, and more power to you for owning a rare car )

My favourite Sunday Service of the year and it was made even better that I was on track this time.

I thought the standard for the 11:55 group was pretty good, had lots of fun with the greasy conditions.
Had a great time. I was also on the session till my car unfortunalty decided it didn't need its driver side front light and threw it out lol

It looked like great fun - what I’d like to know is if his missus knew he was gonna do it the first time or if she was screaming in the passenger seat rofl

Thanks for the link, done the same after finding it impossible to get the cafe to take notes on multiple visits.

Great day out as always thanks PH.

Got a few pics of people on track in a couple of sessions. Not the best quality pics (sorry!)

We didn't see the Cossie in action on track, though watching the brief clip, it takes some big kahoonahs to drive like that unless you're really sure of your ability & the conditions.... It was a proper effort smile

Thanks for a great morning.

Particularly enjoyed the ride in the MX5 in the wet. Not quite able to catch up with the Lambo but still impressive.

She didn't look unhappy when they left so I would guess that she was probably quite used to it biglaugh

A top morning as always. I was there stupid early at 7am and had the cafe to myself for breakfast followed by a lot of fun in the 9am session in my grey Mini Cooper S.

Thanks to all the courteous drivers, a great session. Roll on next year.

A fun morning! Shame it didn't properly dry out though.

If anyone has any pictures or videos of the red golf in the 10.45 session I'd appreciate it smile

Just made it back home to Cornwall. Really enjoyed the 11.20 session but apologies for being a bit of a mobile chicane. AR-1's were distinctly lacking in grip and as the dry line improved (towards end of session) I ran out of talent. Easily done when you don't have much to start with! Anyway, hope the E30 sounded good on the straights?! smile

Loved the noise of the GTR going round! Excellent day with great facilities as always at Silverstone. That said perhaps they could put more than one person on the tills in the cafe first thing in the morning....

Were you the driver of the golf? I was really impressed that you were keeping up with a black M3 and then next lap you were mike behind. Did you have a moment?
