Good excuse to get my new toy out for the first time.

Many thanks to PH, Silverstone and fellow PHers who made this sunny Sunday a real treat with the mix of cars there! Also loved that PHers liked the Morris Minor just as much as the exotic metal on display smile
Another superb Sunday Service and great to meet to so many fellow PHers. I can only echo everyone's comments, well done and thanks to PH and Silverstone.

Cheers Sharky, I've already ended on autotrader looking at MR2s smile I was also surprised at the reaction to my minor, I couldn't get away from it without someone asking a question lol

Just a big thanks to all involved for today, I went to this SS last year but, due to the weather, this was MUCH better!

Good turn out (though could have been better), some friendly faces, lovely cars on show......what a great morning out. My most enjoyable SS for quite a while.

Another thanks to PH and Silverstone for the great day. Lots of amazing cars as usual, great tour of Silverstone and brilliant fun on track (I was in the white GT86, sorry if I held anyone up as I wasn't quick even with an instructor but learnt a lot!).

I was behind you for a bit you did pull over right at the end of the pit straight but too l late for me to go past. Think I went past on the next bit or you went into the pits. Your lines were good! Much neater than me who was barraling into corners too fast! I was in the black st220.

Think I was in the same session as you, I was driving a grey mk3 MX5 with the brown roof. Probably holding you up a lot for which I can only apologise!

Loved the fd2. Did you find a good picture to buy? I was in my dc5 integra, I have only owned for a few weeks so was great for a taster session. Bring on brands in a few weeks. smile

Great Sunday Service today! Thanks a lot to the guy in the orange Gallardo (Kev presumably) who have us some real entertainment and something to try and keep up with on the way home!

Sorry yes I did mean yellow. Was a great drive out, we had a ball chasing you guys around the twistys. Was gutted when we had to turn off. I couldn't hear my TT at all over your car!

Haha, No problem, there's no point holding people up, it was entertaining seeing your MX5s back end hang out on the only left corner, looked like it was caught just in time laugh I saw the corrado spin, thankfully it looked like it was just a spin and no damage done, think he got sin binned for a lap, sounded awesome though.

The 330ci was going for it and all over my chuff in the corners. Yes please do send the links when you're ready and if your mate has any too.

Cheers

Not sure I should be admitting this, but the Corrado was me.... First time on a track and pushing my car to it's limit. I just over extended myself and it kicked out. Apologies to anyone who I caused concern or annoyance to. I wasn't sin binned, I just rejoined when it was clear, had my tail well and truly between my legs from that point on though

I also filmed the entire session on my own gopro, so I have first hand footage of my own stupidity!

Hi guys, first time posting and first time at a Sunday Service too.

Was great to get on track with some of you first thing, had loads of fun. Props to the little grey MX-5 NA doing all the drifting!

I was the E46 M3 by the way smile

Hi Tim,

I was following you in the integra for a while and was really impressed. Is it completely standard?

Wow, impressed? Are you sure you were following me!

Completely standard apart from mildly upgraded brakes. It's the 158hp 2.0 version so it might have been a bit quicker than you expected.

First time I've driven a car on track but I was very impressed by the little Mazda.

Hi! byebye I do remember seeing you a couple of times, but must admit I didn't take in too many details as I was trying to fend off 550M's pesky GT2 which was giving me grief most of the session biglaugh

Power-wise, yes (just an exhaust and intake which add a bit more growl than any real performance), but KW Clubsport suspension and AP Racing 6/4 pots help make up for some OEM deficiencies in those areas biggrin

Had the car a long time, so pretty used to it by now, and have done quite a few trackdays in the past too which probably helps smile The car does surprise some people though. I think the Z4Ms are wildly underrated - most people opt for the more obvious M3/CSLs for track toys. I like that it's a bit more unique as a result though!

Just another note too to add thanks to those organising. Another in a line of great PH SS meets! smile
