If it's one of those late 60's/early 70's Stingrays with 7447 cc then you qualify automatically by virtue of bonnet length and, hopefully, Texan drawl.
Bit newer than that, its a 91 ZR1 with the Lotus designed 32 valve 4 cam 5.7 motor. 450bhp in 1250Kgs. its actually quite quick for a yank.

Is that an uprated engine? As I remember reading about them when I was younger in my 'Supercars from around the world book' I think the standard tune was 375bhp? Is that that the one with the 'power key' switching between 16 and 32 valve running? According to form it was designed to allow the owner to lock the car in 16 valve mode when giving the car to a parking valet so he could'nt go for a quick full power burn
Thats the one, the car has been prepared in the US for track days so it has a lot of trick bits. I bought it a year ago from a guy in LA with no engine and put it back together during the summer.
if i get an entry this will be the first time i will drive it in anger. It will be nice to see what it can do. The stock road car was good for 0>60 in 4.2 seconds 0>100 in 9.8 and a top wack of 192mph (tested by Autocar in 1989).

Morning
The ZR1 sounds mean, hope you can make it. From your profile I see you are in Oxford, I spent 4 years there at Uni, where are you based? In my 2nd year I lived out in a house up the Iffley Road aka 'The Lebanon'

Hi Greg, a little bit, purely because I have a few maybes & in my limited experience we always have a few dropouts at the last minute. Once I have asked for and received the deposit cheques I will put down a definite list. Suffice to say you wont be dissapointed, you name it, its coming, we have some very fast machinery this time.
Its going to be good.
