Anyone know what all the cars on the transporter were about? The Lamborghini that showed up on the Late Brake Show was on it amongst other things. Couldn’t work out why they all stayed on the lorry.
He couldn’t decide which of them to bring & his mate owns the transporter so…

I think they looked really good on it, he drove over in the Merc at the side of it too wink

Had the pleasure of following a couple of you guys for quite a ways when we left, nice way to end the day (I was in the grey Impreza).
Ah - yes... you were following the carbon/silver 7 and the Dino?
Came past us on the dual carriageway?

Thanks to all the PH team for a great day, met some great new people & nice walk around chatting. Was happy to have my Clubsport on display.

Had a great time, always good to see a huge variety of cars at PH events. Not sure why people are complaining about the £20 entry fee, it cost me several times that in petrol to get there. Not to mention the numerous free Sunday services throughout the year which offset it.

Food prices were pretty punchy though, even for an event. For a £5 ice cream I would have expected at least the cone to be filled up...

Me and my family had a lovely time, thank you. When my wife and kids come away from a motoring event with an unfeigned sense of enjoyment then you can rest assured you’ve done something right! biggrin

Imagine you turn up in a Porsche 959. One of only two Ruby Red cars built. (according to Wiki)

And less that a minutes walk away is..... Another Ruby Red Porsche 959. biggrin
I wasn’t aware of that tidbit! That would either have been annoying, or very well organised!

Anybody care to confirm which? biggrin

Ice cream was £3 a single cone

You should have gone to the nice couple with the horse box doing home made ice cream, £3 with a decent waffle cone and they were tasty. We took our own lunch as we had the kids with us but I didn’t think the food prices were bad at all when walking around. You can’t please everyone.

And a pound for a flake! A pound! £20 for a box of 144 on Amazon!

We had the dirty fries with pulled pork for £7 each and they were really good. Nice sauce, crispy chips and plenty of meat too. Would’ve been happy with them in a restaurant at that price. £2 for a bottle of water which is OK for an event too.

I don't remember ever seeing a 959 actually on the road , one of those 2 overtook me on the M40 on the way home .
It also undertook a BMW dawdling in lane 3 and just disappeared in the distance .

I was dawdling in lane 1 with 1/10 the BHP of a 959 . smile

Agree on the ticket prices, and not to forget we all use this website for free, and have done for 25 years.

On the food, we had two gyros from the Greek place. £25, yeah, but also it was tasty and filling. Can’t complain really. I do take my own drinks though, else I end up dehydrated after baulking at paying £2+ for a bottle of water.

I can't imagine gong to dinner with some on here biggrin £20 or £25 for a ticket, £10 for food, it's standard. Bring a flask, and make sandwiches FFS!

Bicester always seems to need more food options, but it's hard to call it either way. I was more concerned about the wasp invasion than my wallet rofl

Absolutely gutted I missed this. We broke down en route yesterday. Not much happening at 06:45 in Daventry I can tell you.

Enjoyed the day and speakIng to the 917 owner and how he reversed engineered the car - including making a copy of the original wheels

Not sure how long I will be allowed to keep the framed photo on the fireplace!
Is that an entrance photo? Didn’t realise they were available to print
Yep I early didn’t get this framed as would have looked on the website a few days later to buy

Search Blue Pig events and all the photos should be uploaded in a few days

They do loads of classic car shows
Hello!

Please tell me that's not 'G400XBX'.
