Is the multicoloured effect on the windscreen simply achieved by using a polariser or is there more to it than that? It seems like a good way to make my photos look a little bit more interesting.

Pretty sure it's plastic, though I am happy to be told otherwise.

I was lucky enough to bag the passenger seat in 356Speedster's Ultima and took this video of the run in to the house and up to the parking area. Not an experience i'll be forgetting in a hurry! It's not great quality video, but as no one else has posted a better one from this point of view, I thought i'd share:

Fantastic event. Enjoyed every second of it.

Jay, I'll sling some over to you one I've finished, but that might not be until early next week as we're having some disruptive work done on the house. Many thanks to you and your team once again for an excellent day. smile

Yeah it's a polariser doing that. An undesirable side effect if anything though.

@DougieMc I think you overtook me too, on the A303 I believe. There was also a red XK150 at about the same time (I was in the red Micra with a PH sticker on the back) smile

Sure Mal, no problem! They're very expensive though, they cost a passenger ride in the GT one day lol wink

drop me an email to info at davince dot net and I'll ping over any I've got.

Thats one of my pictures and yes a polariser was being used. Its a side effect of the car having a plastic screen as Jay mentions, the polariser just brings out the colours. You see the same effect with some plastic headlamps and polarisers.
