A standard car would be well under that dB level.
My Elise SC has a loud stage 3 exhaust and it's been measured at about 98 ish

What time do these normally go on for?
And is it a problem if we arrived after 9am?

And yes I have seen that! I may apply then smile

Do you need a helmet? Think I have one from when I used to have a 125cc motorbike but not sure if it has to be anything special

Also worried about the noise limits what is 102db like in terms of a production car? As my mini does make a racket!
Don't worry about a slow motor, i'm in a standard MX5 so will hardly be setting any speed records! I'd love to drive a Mini on a race track.

Helmet wise; I read that Silverstone have plenty for hire @ £10. If I were you i'd bring your old one along and see if you can get away with it.

No problem at all, the official end time is 1300 but people normally start leaving from about 1030.

I'm a little worried about the noise limits myself.... I'm kind of expecting 6.2l of de-cat'd V8 to set off all sorts of alarm bells with the noise police, LOL!

Good news for those on the reserve list:

If you are going on track, please remove yourself from the calendar as you will have specific parking for track time so the calendar should just include people not going on trackthumbup

Track time is going quickly, at the moment the following is still available:

17 places at 9am
