is this going to be an all out sprint or a spirited drive?? Its just I have not had my car long and am not confident about thrashing the nuts off it yet.

There's sat-nav files and good route notes here, so there's no need for anybody to feel pressured to drive beyond their comfort zone. I'd expect a mix of different paces, as usual.

Generally speaking, when you're trying to stay together in a large group it's the cars at the back that will be driving the fastest. If you're keen to stay with the pack I'd recommend being up the front. It also means if you lose your way you can pull over and wait for a backmarker to follow.
