Surrey Run V: The Return of the Driving - 18 Jan
Discussion
OK, having checked that all the roads I planned to use still exist , here are the details of the start location and time and a rough idea of when we'll get to Racing Green.
Directions for the route will be emailed to all those who have replied on this thread or emailed me. If anyone else would like a copy, contact me through my profile.
We will be meeting in the car park outside The Tussaud Group offices in Silverglade Business Park, Kingston Road (KT9 2NN) at 7.45am, aiming for an 8.00am departure (sunrise). The business park is on the A243 very close to junction 9 of the M25 (on the right if coming from the M25, close to Mole Valley TVR and just after the BP station).
Map here
The route is about 90 miles and it will probably take 2-2.5 hours until we reach our destination in Ash Vale here.
Hopefully with our early start we'll have the luxury of the roads to ourselves - and what great roads they are!

Bob the Planner said:Now I know where we're going, it doesn't look like we will meet up with your group Bob: I reckon we'll be passing though Midhurst about 1-1.5 hours before you.
..expecting to be in Midhurst at about 10:40 or so. Any chance of a joining with you SR5 ?
Anyway, we'll keep an eye open: can't be too difficult to miss two convoys of TVRs can it?

Never mind. If we see you we see you, otherwise see you at Racing Green or the Royal Oak.
Leave us some bacon butties - I missed out last time for the T350T and don't want to miss out again !

Should be a very good run: a fantastic variety of automotive porn coupled with some great driving roads.
There will also be plenty of people coming along - at the last count I've sent out over 35 sets of directions, some to people organising small groups.
Don't forget to bring your video and still cameras to help create footage for the now traditional (and award winning ) DVD from Sleepy-Fish productions.
