Fantastic 1st run for me today, many thanks to Obes for organising the day My poor Elise received the thrashing of her life!
Respect to the MR2 infront of me for most of the run, you did a good job at keeping up with the bigger boys in front!
Thanks PeterGreen my MR2 received a thrashing too, surprised it didn't blow up by the time I got back to J15!! Looking forward to seeing your video footage.

Finally got round to posting up some snaps www.planet-maxx.com/pics.php?set=Piston1. Did bail out fairly early as I had to get back. But Thoroughly enjoyed the bit of run that I did do. Can't wait until the next one.
K321 Here's the details:
The planned date is below. Need to get a rough idea of numbers so that we can let the pub know how many to expect.
Date: Sunday 23rd April.
Time: 12ish?
Venue: The Crooked Billet Pub (Nr Bicester).
Last year most of us met at the Esso garage in Bicester just off the M40 and went for a drive before getting to the pub for lunch at 1pm. Then another drive after lunch, before a few of us settled in a pub in Waddesdon for a couple.

custardkid, I recall the moment around an island, over taking a slower vehicle then accelerating slightly uphill you were right behind me filling the rear view mirror, next time i'll have to redline then you slowed and were replaced by another PH'er
one of our viperclub members had a very nasty experience of a S6 cerby reliability/problems, hope it doesnt hit your wallet to hard

OBES, thanks again for another fantastic run. We did not hang about for the charity bash, as I know places were limited and it looked like it was about to piss it.
I did notice a problem with my car on the way back, when I nailed the accelerator I got loud popping from the exhaust. Did anyone notice anything odd if they were behind me? The odd flame is usual but anything else. Serious answers only please.
Got some great footage of the lambos (nice one of Ray loosing his arse end at the Towcester roundabout) and Ferrari 360. Ill try and upload it at some point.
See you all again soon.

I was behind you (Red MK1 MR2) most of the first section through the twisty's but couldn't keep up once on dual carriageways. Nothing unusual from your exhaust on the run besides the odd flame although once at home I did find loads of white specles on the front of my car - which initially I thought was coolant, but seeing as it's a new rad and on closer inspection deffo wasn't from my car. Could have been some washer fluid though???
Edited to add a thanks to Obes for the great route! The little 21 year old MR2 help it's own quite well. I only had a couple of very minor tail-happy moments - nothing compared to what I encourage it to get on track though
Good crowd and some very nice cars too

Hello, I was very impressed by your Mr2, you kept with us all the way.
The Skyline is over fueling for some reason (lots of black soot in exhaust) and we were down on power by about 30% at the top end. Thanks for your help.

Itching to see it James. If you are or trying to upload, I think http://video.tinypic.com/ can take most formats easily and you don't have to register.
