Good news about the additional 09.00 slot. Maybe a pre-5am alarm won't be necessary after all. Presumably if there are queues of cars waiting to cross the runway, this won't go as far back as the public road?

I was just about to get grumpy as the hotel is all booked, however having a 9am runway crossing is fine.

If you're on the list there will normally be an email sent out on Friday with all the info.

I would say another email would be due. To avoid the confusion. It looks like lots of people have dropped off the list.

Please read the below as we have had some further information from Aston Martin about the SS. This is not the invitation for the event, this is being sent to those on the going list and those on the reserve list.

As some of you may know, their new facility is on an active runway. This has caused some last minute complications as us/you will need to be escorted across the runway - Aston Martin have asked if members can arrive by 8am to be escorted across, we then have 2 leaving times, 11am and 1 hour later at 12. Again, members need to be escorted across the runway and you will not be able to leave before/after these times unfortunately.

We also will not be able to park in the super hangar as stated in the release article, which we're absolutely bummed about as that would have been a very cool touch...

I really hope this doesn't impede anyones plans and everyone can still make it, but if it does, please remove your name from the list to allow those that can a chance to attend.

We apologise that this is so last minute and hope you understand.

The invitation email will be sent out to those on the going list on Friday.

Yes but I believe 9am arrival is OK now - and I do understand why that's a big deal for mates travelling from the East coast!
