Little people – we’re happy to cater for kids but remember that Ha! Ha! is an adult environment so we may not be able to provide everything that you need.

To keep all our customers happy, children need to behave well, and so that no one is breaking laws, kids need to be eating a meal, remain with their table in the canteen area and leave by 8pm.

Dave....?

From experience what they actually mean is there's nowhere on earth you'll be made to feel less welcome with kids.

Yep, although it couldn't be much worse having a few scattered round in there than a screaming baby on a 4hour flight

No worries, with me being over 18 and all sure i'll be made to feel welcome

Whats all this dress code rubbish then.....?

I dont want to have to go out looking like a toffee cock...

WE just want normal pubs where you can chat and muck about....nothing fancy....

Gunwharf is a relatively new development, it's mostly trendy bars, and chain restaurants. Even the Customs House is only a couple of years old (as a Pub).

It does generally cater for the over-21s, the youngsters, and pikeys go out in Guildhall Square.

That's just Tiger Tiger. When it first opened they use to be very selective and kick 'undesirables' out the queue. If you didn't look the part you didn't get in. Not quite this bad now, the beautiful people go elsewhere.

Just found this: The largest customer group for Gunwharf Quays is the 26-45 year olds (43% of total visitors)

Bar ha ha is a "nice" place, been in there several times.

A lot of places around this area have dress code gorvid - not all obviously but there is such a rediculously large chav scum element they had to do something. I tend to wear black jeans with smartish shoes and a casual shirt now, it means you dont get left behind when you are the only one in blue denim and your best nike getaway trainers

If you want to head Guildhall way, torn denim, pikey trainers, hoodie and 4 inch blade should do ya, innit.

You'll be fine in Blue Denim, unless you do want to go to Tiger Tiger.

As I said in the email, pretty much all the people you want to avoid will be in Guildhall Square.

You're fine anywhere in Southsea, Old Portsmouth, or Gunwharf.

For any other blokes going, who decided to do the standard bloke thing and organise things at the last minute, looks like the hotel actually was full. oops

just having a look now - there is one place with spaces but... erm... put it this way a park bench would be preferable. Going to give a mate of the missus a ring in the morning see if she has floor space.

Just a thought.. not sure if Ali now has a spare room booked as I was planning on going, but seems I won't be now
Although! She might not have booked it yet, 'tis a bit of a longshot.

You'd better remove me from the list, boys.
