Er...we were briefed to overtake on the left! I did all of my overtaking on the left as did everyone else I was out with.My point still stands though...!!

These are the rules - see "General" section on page three. The Fiat was overtaking on the left, which is a no no.
The rules are there to keep all safe and make sure all are having fun so stop having a go at the guy who was sticking to those very specific regulations.

Overtaking:
1. Use your mirrors regularly but only on the straights. Do not spend the whole lap
looking in your mirrors
2. Overtake only on the left hand side
3. Overtake only on the straights
4. Do not overtake in the corners or final part of the braking areas
5. If you are being caught by faster traffic move over to the right and let the vehicle/s
pass on the left.
6. Slower drivers MUST never move off line in a corner. Remember no overtaking is
to happen in the corners hence moving off line will compromise both yourself and
the following cars. Wait until the exit and then move over.
7. Slower drivers please do not hinder faster cars and put your foot down on the
straights and this can lead to frustration and the potential for accidents is increased

My point still stands about giving the guy a hard time though!

Love the way the M6 Beemer dwarfs the G4.
On board for a quarter of an hour if you can stand it.

Oh awesome, my mucky little green MX5 appeared somewhere Admittedly, only very briefly getting out of your way. Your Ginetta is just gorgeous http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PViPbWEUV8&fea...

Just goes to show that BHP really isn't everything.
Dave Randall in his 1500cc Ginetta G4 has done a 1m 8.4s lap of the National circuit on road legal tyres!!
Have a look at the Road Sports Tab

I beg to differ. My 968 (the black one) isn't anywhere to be seen in this whole thread. Not even in the background in photos of interesting stuff.
Here you go. Always liked 968s; yours looked very tidy.geeeman said:
thank you, i didnt want to push the car too hard, only passed its MOT the day before. It easily kept up with more powerful modern stuff, even the westfield xtr, but guess he wasnt trying very hard. I notice the M3 in the vid posted was doing around 1:12, and i did around 1:15 or so, think i can improve on that. the car only has around 130HP, original 1963 1500 cc precrossflow ford engine. Great to see such a diversity of cars and people
Thinks this is the best pic taken of my little red Blipi, in the background, the only Elan there (again).Still, the Ginetta validly deserves greater attention! Hope to be seeing it again!

Well there's a picture of me and the misses in the background of someone car ahot but can't find one of my car. Maybe I need to go in a less common car next time.
I noticed that - the other two common cars have been featured quite extensively Mine's not even been in the background of any pics.
Ah well.
