Fighting talk from a man who's staying at home with all the doors locked tonight

On which subject - yes I was coming, but my next door neighbours came home from hols this afternoon, and brought the EU wine lake with them. And, not to put too fine a point on it, I can't drive

Why don't you just settle this at VMax?

Far be it from me to broadcast, but CarZee might have run his S2K at VMax yesterday. If you ask him nicely he might tell you what he got

Or he might not. That's the risk you run with Zee

Certainly it aint slow, as evidenced by the 'waaaaaaaagh' coming from the passenger seat (that would be me then! )

Well, another enjoyable night of honda-bashing fun at the pub! Thanks to all those who turned up, especially given the alternative entertainment on offer.

Thanks to Neil and Oggs for a run out in their respective motors. As independent adjudicator in the S2000 versus Chimaera debate, my conclusion is.......you both should have bought an MGB No seriously, both cars are pretty quick. The S2000 feels more sure-footed and chuckable into bends, but below 6000rpm, that engine noise is an embarrassing. No wonder Neil kept the radio on The Chimaera on the other hand felt slippery over the rough bits and into bends, possibly because the passenger seats are a bit wider than in the honda. However, the punch of power and that awesome noise will always do it for me. Sorry Neil, even the offer of a free haircut isn't enough to sway my opinion, but take heart from the fact that there isn't a huge amount between the two cars.

They will win this one, I will be cheering them on to victory since I can't cheer Scotland on after their dismal non-qualification

Why don't you just settle this at VMax? To take away excusses, a standing start, last to the timing gear

Why? cos going fast in a straight line is so important? ttt... Its how you go round the corners.... shld be no contest in a straight line for 4something litre engine over one half its size... why not get Jan over in her Viper.... that thing shld go faster in a straight line, but it certainly doesnt go round corners! i'm game on...

what/where is Vmax then? as long as it doesnt clash with 2wheel commitments... count me in.

I'm still here and fuming as the tyre place still haven't rang to say the tyres are in so I can get mine changed.

Looks like it'll be tommorow at this rate.

after going to the Turkey Work Out drive after christmas i haven't shown my face since but thoughrly enjoyed myself!!!

can concur with Sheepy on the Chimera / hairdryer battle...

to be fair they're both awesomly fast, thought the S2000 was a little skittish over some bumps though... maybe we were going faster as we knew the roads!?!

NOTHING sounded better than the Chim though!!!

cheers guys for the lifts, unforgettable experiance, next time i may bring a mate so you may have to start charging for taxi rides!!!

hope the Wedge didn't die too!!!

The wedge is suffering from some serios ground clearance issues at mo those bumpy roads are not good for it...

Dave I emailed you via PH with a link to the Griff4.3 video clip. I got a "Warning: could not send message for past 2 hours" message back so have no idea if you have got it yet.
