Chateau Run Photo Thread
Discussion
I have to say a special-thank you to our French PH-er friends - when group 1 arrived (just 5 cars (as everyone else got "mislaid"!)) they were in the lane by the Chateau entrance waiting eagerly with their cameras! I felt like Jordan arriving for some more surgery (only better looking, with less make-up and smaller tits!)
Perhaps they should have been invited to join us for lunch really (or were they?).

Hi guys,
what a great event - can't wait 'till next time.
Special regards to Mike and Jake - we must do better next time! But well worth the ten euro.
Epic day today traversing some fab roads with a deviation to die for! Good idea to stay over next time.
Only just got home sadly on a low loader as my accelerator gave up on the M25
but LOL

Just to say thanks to Ian and Lyne and Derek for organising this great day out. It was good to meet new people, and the drive and venue were memorable....particularly the climax with the Pc plod incident at the end! All ended happily thankfully. I hadn't realised that we were really speeding that much, as I found it quite hard to go faster than the '130'(mph?) national speed limit the French have, particularly round corners on minor roads.....!
This was the first trip out for the Countach 5000S ( A663 SUV -red of course!) since a full body rebuild, so it was good to blow out the cobwebs....yes mine was the one spitting orange flames!!!
Looking forward to meeting up again soon. - keep in touch!

Hey all,
Great day, good food, fast cars. What more can you ask for?
I've got some pix posted on my site here.
Cheers

Many thanks (again) for organising the Chateau run, and very nice to meet all you other PistonHeads on the run.
I took a load of pics, but none better / different from those already here, so I'll not slow down your loading by posting them.
There's obviously mixed thoughts on displaying registration numbers in photo's, and whilst I'm grateful to those that have made the effort to erase them, to be honest unless the event was an illegal race as opposed to a trip abroad for lunch, I don't hink any of us have much to hide. Save yourself the time, and only do it when it's of dubious legality !
Anyway thanks again, I'll keep an eye on the site now I've joined.
A picture of my Lambo in Cannonball guise (with Joke plate) to practice my use of Photobucket !
