I know there's a lengthy topic about a camping weekend, but I really can't be bothered to read itwinkhehe

So yes a plain and simple "yes" or "no" will suffice.....is there a PistonFest planned for '08, and if so when will it be?
Or is the "PH Camping Weekend" 2008's PF replacement? smile

Many thanks,

Darren

The answer from Ted about a Pistonfest 2008 was 'nope' and if he had had his way, there wouldnt have been a Pistonfest 2007 either.

so the camping is an unoffical PH thing - organised by PHer's for PHer's and has no backing from Haymarket

I'll post too, see if we can get some momentum.

shout Garlick!

I'd be happy to help organise if you have a lot on your plate.

I use the term 'help' in as loose a term as possible

bumpety bump bump bump

Britcar 24 hour in October 2009 idea

Hardcore campers need only apply (I assume October won't be that warm)

What do you think? Also (hopefully) PHer 'itsayellow' in his TVR will be competing.

It gives those who are doing Le Mans and the Silverstone Classic a chance to save some pennies.

just a thought

I'll be running the camp at that race. On site at Silverstone too. Was an amazing weekend this year. See the Britcar forum for feedback.

I'm in biggrin

Still hoping PH sort out a 'fest, seems pointless allowing the forum to continue otherwise.
