It's back for another year!!

It's been a cold cold few months since the last one back in September! & after the recent Sunday Service at Silverstone I realised I do miss decent food, chatting about V8's with friends & oggling over cars...So I couldnt resist any longer, let's get this going again! Here are some choice snaps from last years Gatherings!

It's a really lovely venue, great outside seating on warm summer evenings, lovely feel inside as well! & very child friendly also for those with little one's.

You'll be pleased to know there is a petrol station next door as well! & some great roads all close by! & quick to get to as it's directly on the A22 south of the M25, so Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hants even Berkshire PH'ers have no excuse as I'd say it's even easier to get to then the Iconic Ace Cafe meetings!

Oh also! If you're hoping to have dinner there (Whether that be inside or outside on the picnic tables), if you can mention it, that would be great so the staff have a good idea on numbers that they need to cater for.

Agreed I found even last year with these meets you do get a bundle of folk come down who are on the forums but who simply lurk...It's brilliant though as you get a bundle of surprises turn up!

Well this is shaping up nicely...I visited the Venue a few days ago to make sure they're up to date of our numbers. Suffice to say they were pleased to see me again after all the custom we brought through the summer last year on what is traditionally a quiet weekday night for them! (They're normally absolutley heaving on a weekend!)

Just need the weather to play ball folks!

You've timed it spot on chap, this is the first one of the year! & every time I've run the event we always get long term lurkers/new comers pop down! Definitely come along!

Should be fine Andy...We peaked around 65 last year, and that was still with some of their own paying customers turning up. The Z4 & SLS shall form the cordon of "our" area, will be picking up some cones tomorrow hopefully to run in between the two

But also people come/go through the night, so it makes it manageable numbers wise thankfully.

The Red Barn is LOVELY...Eaten there a few times, my kinda place The bumps on the way in put me off for this last year, but I may reconsider, will have to visit it again soon. Let's see how the next one pans out, if we're struggling for space on a cold night like the upcoming one, then I'll certainly make alternative arrangements for next month (when fingers and toes crossed, it'll actually be warm!).

Thank you to all those that made the trip down in the freezing cold! Considering it was the first of the year it was a brilliant turn out! But more importantly, it answered a question I had in my mind from the last one we held in 2012, & that was that we need somewhere bigger! Despite how nice the Smith & Western has been for all the past events!

Glad people enjoyed the SLS too! Cars like that need to be seen, heard & enjoyed! It's what they're for & why it was brought down, and what better place for it to be truly appreciated than a PH meet! Wait until you see whats being brought down for the upcoming ones over the summer!

The thread for the new venue shall be up momentarily!
