Prodrive Sunday Service 19/02
Full details of our first 2017 Sunday Service, at a new venue as well!
Prodrive was founded in 1984 by former World Rally Championship winning co-driver, David Richards, and they've gone from strength to strength since. In 33 years it has won six WRC titles, five World Sportscar championships and four British Touring Car Championships to name but a few! And Prodrive is mostly known for its motorsport heritage, it also has a massively successful technologies aspect, too, and we'll get to have a nose around the facilities to see how Prodrive thrives!
This event will be taking place on February 19 at Prodrive's factory in Banbury. Prodrive will have its on-site restaurant open for us, so you can have your breakfast before the fun begins. Its facility will be open for all to have a good wander around, and there will also be presentations running throughout the morning, which will explain what Prodrive does and answer any questions you may have. These presentations aren't compulsory, but if you do want to include it in your morning, they will be on a first come, first serve basis (sign up when you arrive) to cater for around 80 people each.
We have space for 250 cars, but plus ones, kids/partners (if they want to...) are all welcome at this event! Sign up here.
See you there!
The PH Team.
Prodrive Sunday Service
When: Sunday February 19, 0900h-1200h
Where: Prodrive, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 4XD
Cost: None, but we love biscuits!
Spaces: 250
Not only that but I may not look every day, sign up to a Sunday Service Newsletter, and get E-mailed when events are released, it's pretty simple.
The email method potentially won't be as quick so then people would complain they received an email and it was already full.
The retail park is a good 10 minute walk
Some great cars on display both inside and out, although I would echo what I put in the general SS forum which is I believe the events shouldn't go live on Facebook. The events fill up quick enough with genuine members without it getting clogged up with users who purely register based on seeing Facebook. That said there were a few individuals on Facebook who had no intention of registering as was witnessed by another member.
So PH keep up the goodwork and ditch the Facebook events listings.
Slightly annoying seeing people say they're going to turn up even if they don't make the list. Lucky everyone doesn't take this approach.
Good photos in the links above, even though it looks like I hogged two spaces...even captured the remnants of the dead bird in my front grille
Looking forward to Silverstone already - another SS on my doorstep.

I thought it went well, and the queue into the carpark was not and issue.
And thank you Alex for the passenger ride in the V6 Exige ("The Sparrow Killer"), without which I would not have been able to attend.
I would like to add my vote to those asking PH not to publicise SS events on other social media until PHers have had a reasonable chance to book via the forums. Some of us are busy working on Tuesday afternoons and are not able to check every 30 seconds to see when it's available.
