The Beckton Meet

Similar to the Virginia Waters meet, but in East London/Docklands.

A meeting place for PH'ers to meet up, chat etc

Cost: FREE (No car parking charges)

Where to park: Outside Borders, but near to the road.

Additional info:

The shops open at 11:00am so the car park is empty up to then. There's a Mcdonalds and a pizza hut, plus Borders has a coffee shop inside. Also a Tesco and other shops. There's also a car wash facility, but not sure if they open on sundays.

Sorry everyone, got an unexpected family emergency and it looks like I may not be able to come along. Won't know for sure until tomorrow morning though, but it looks doubtful.#

Once again thanks to everyone for coming along. Unfortunatly due to two other events elsewhere, a lot of the Fezza's were MIA. Next time I'll pay more attention to the Club Scuderia calendar and twist a few arms to get them down.

A number of people want to do it again and there's various options we can do, which I'll list up. If anyone else has an idea post it up.

1. Start at 9:00am instead of 10:00am?

2. Do it every month or every two months?

3. Post meet pub/drinks by the river in Docklands and we'll make sure we all have a postcode this time?

4. A trip to Southend which is 45 minutes away (or 15 minutes for some of the people attending today?

I'm happy with whatever the majority decide, but I think we have the beginings of a large regular PH meet.

For the next one, we'll probably be looking at Sunday 20th of August.

The 27th is a bank holiday weekend and also the Turkish F1 Grand Prix and the weekend of the 12th is the Forza show.

So.... Sunday 20th August then?
