No he did not say he has fuel. He said he can hear the pump prime on key on. That is absolutely not the same thing.
He said "it spurts out fuel". You've said a lot of nothing so far apart from how only a fool would want to see the sensor faults before taking plugs, injectors and your polished osiliscope out.trickywoo said:

We won't know if OP doesn't come back but I'll bet a virtual pint that its a duff cam position sensor which a simple plug in would tell you in minutes.
No need to get your hands dirty until you've eliminated the simple stuff. Just pulling the plugs on some modern stuff can take you a good while and for little gain.
What pointed you specifically towards cam sensor rather than crank sensor? No need to get your hands dirty until you've eliminated the simple stuff. Just pulling the plugs on some modern stuff can take you a good while and for little gain.
Could you perhaps think of any reasons that a code read might indicate a cam sensor even where it is not actually faulty? I can think of a few.

Some years ago in the early days of EOBD diagnostics I had a call from a garage that couldn't get an Escort Zetec running after a top end rebuild. A "top local diagnostic guy" had been out to it and diagnosed the cam position sensor. Many hours went into changing the sensor, then checking all the wiring, sending the ECU for testing etc. We recovered the vehicle in and in about an hour found the inlet cam in the exhaust and vice versa. Top diagnostic dude had only done a code read and come up with cam sensor signal issues, which in fairness it did have because there was nothing on the exhaust cam to give the sensor a pulse! No need to get your hands dirty until you've eliminated the simple stuff. Just pulling the plugs on some modern stuff can take you a good while and for little gain.
Always always check the basics first.
