Everyone saying drain and refill
How on earth are you supposed to tip the car over far enough to get the fuel back out?
Ordinarily I would say disconnect the fuel line at the pump or filter, and then let the fuel pump run to pump out all of the fuel into a suitable container. But fuel pumps are lubricated by the fuel they use, and I think petrol may wreck the pump. It may already be damaged though. In any case, your best bet is to suck as much of the the fuel out using a pump designed for this task. Don't worry about leaving a bit of petrol behind - as others have said, it's fine to add a little petrol to diesel in winter to help it flow.

For a one-off I'd get something like this:

At less than £10 it should do the trick. In a pinch to get old fuel out of a motorcycle which had been sitting for a few years, I've used a suction brake bleeder with the catch can removed. I attached a nut and bolt to the hose to weigh it down so that the end of the hose would sit at the bottom of the tank, and it took a few minutes to drain the old fuel into a container.

diesel cars rely on the lubrication from the fuel for hp pumps and older ones the timing pumps, petrol doesnt lubricate.
dont run it as is, a litre or two might be ok, but that amount, no way, drain it and refill, and hope no damage has been done yet.
