Hi guys, sorry to ask questions about cr*p cars, but down on my luck at the moment.
I've seen a really cheap 1994 Rover 216 (which I believe has an Honda engine, defo not the K series) everything about the car is mint (if a rover ever could be lol) just that the immobilser cannot be deactivated and hence the car won't start, hence the cheap price.

Just wondered if anyone knew of a workaround?? I know some Rovers have a code, in which you input it via turning the key in the door lock, but not sure if the current owners have the code.

Trouble is I don't want to ask them too much as I don't want the price to go up. But then the car is 30 miles from home and no other way to get it home apart from drive it as can't afford to get it recovered.

Any help appreiciated. (it's proably another one I should walk away from)
