Can anyone make and reccommendations as to fuel pressire regualtors, specifically for a 51psi/3.5bar injected Rover V8?

I'm a bit wary of the FSE offering becasue i know of a few that failed last year and dont want the same to happen to me.

A standard RV8 35psi one is no good obviously.

Anythougts on the Weber/Alpha billet offering?

Regards
Iain (and a couple of beers, sorry).

I'm a bit nervous about crimping pipes to that the diaphram sees and extra 50% of pressure. IIRC when you get above about 40psi (I think) on the standard injectors there is too much pressure for the injectors to open, so I would be suprised if the diaphram is seeing anywhere 51psi even with the crimp.

Ah ok, just confuzcultated by the description. Don't worry, I've seen some people run with a set of mole grips crimping the return to get the required rate and got rather worried!

It's to run the Bosch injectors that were specced on the last of the Disco II's with the Bosch/Thor setup and also (I believe) some of the GEMS setups, they run at 51psi with the regulator built into the fuel pump, and the fuel rail is a dead end system; hence to run that manifold base I need to make some alterations.

Good point well made...

I guess one way to do things would be to get an ajustable one with a guage eg some of the FSE varients, then once everythnig is set up get one thats pervieved to be higher quality but fiexed at whatever rate you I end up with.
