TURBO CHARGING THE ROVER V8 ON A BUDGET

Does anyone know the best way to turbo charge the rover V8 on a budget.Also what parts are needed in the conversion,and how many extra horses will be made available on completion.

Heres some info.The car in question for the conversion is a tvr 4.0ltr H.C.Im ruling out supercharging as i have had this conversion done on two rangerovers in the past with the superchargers alone costing me £3,500.This was with out all the other mods that were needed.Ive also ruled out bigger capacity engines.A freind of mine runs a landrover export business,so i can obtain a 4.6 cross bolted engine brand new for £1,200.But if i want the 5.0ltr and this is where the price jumps my bill would be £5000 and if i want a race spec 5.2 then your talking £6500.I want more power on a budget and was thinking of using the Garrett T4 turbo fitted on the landrover diesal and i believe the lotus turbo esprit.I can obtain one of these second hand for less than a hundred pounds.The car in question has 40,000 miles on the clock with a full service history ans has always had mobil 1 oil in it.
