Strange problem!
Discussion
Right i was off out in the car needed to top up in petrol so put £15 in!
Come out of petrol station and my car instantly goes into like a Limp mode! No lights or anything on! (apart from the engine light constantly being on due to a de-cat) but the car wasn't revving freely and could feel the car sorta Chugging along!
I stop Re-set the ecu and its fine again!
Drove 15 miles still ok! apart from the car Spitting 10 inch flames out the back and really Popping quite wildly on the overrun!
it did it again abit later in which when i came to a hault the car Stalled!(i have an automattic) for the 1st time in agggges! and then again!
Revving the thing sorta made it abit better! But I'm home now! Just wondering what it could be! rather strange any ideas??
Fuel pump failure possibly??
Lambda sensor faliure??

i took a quick vid
As you can see most of the fuel isnt being burnt off and just spitting out the back.
What could cause this?

Last night the car decided to stop! Wouldnt turn on or anything! i eventually got it to start but it was running like a dog!
I fort right lets get this to citroen so i was towed by the AA to Citroen.
They found the problem to be a dirty Lambda Sensor so they cleaned it all up for me and replaced it back in. The sensor was full of Soot and apparently was due to the engine running rich.
But they have sorted it and its much better Just got to go pick it up now! Was only charged £30 for this so all in all wasnt too bad and had a nice service at the same time so the car should be running allot better when i go pick it up
Do you think i should get a replacement lambda kit just incase this one decided to give up the ghost again? Or will it be ok just to keep cleaning it?

Yea Iv tried Numerous places and they cant get a connection from there computers to the ECu as there is some sort of Block on the firmware.
the only way of getting round this (apparently) is by Taking the ECu out and re-soldering it.
Cams have been timed up and were Running fine until the problem. It seems to be running fine now the Lambda has been cleaned.
