You beat me to it!!!!!
That car was at Baytree for quite some time so you must have been a bit slow off the mark You beat me to it!!!!!
Great looking car in the blue - I happened to see it at the weekend and it sounds awesome on startup! I thought the normal Granturismo sounded loud!!!

I love masses but that was the worse car I've ever had!

Slows an understatement! I had to wait to get rid of the Ghibli first.

Dare I ask how much you lost on that heap of poo you've got rid of?I love masses but that was the worse car I've ever had!
Family friend of ours bought a Ghibli for £58k, 2 years 15k miles later and they got £26.5k I think.
5 series is a much much better built saloon car.
It a very different car.
The range was huge and very powerful 5.0 supercharged.
However a week in and we both love it.
Its a great car to drive and very nice place to be, I don't understand all the bad comments about them.
Yes they are very colour sensitive and can look rubbish but I think the black with black sports pack and 21" wheels looks great.
The info system make the GT feel like the system in that runs on coal, Must find some who can change it but still retain factory look.

Picked this up a few weeks ago, after 18mths without a Maserati. 3rd one now, having initially had a 4.2, moved to a Cabrio MC and then, after a break, acquired this as my (more or less) daily drive...
That's a fabulous looking thing. Lovely colour, nice contrasting interior....a fine choice, congratulations.Pork said:

How do you find the power diffeence between the 4.2 & 4.7?The 4.7 obviously has more power to it and most definitely has a better sound (although more to do with the exhaust system and model I would imagine). Did it change my life? No, but yeah... in that it was my first convertible and loved it.
Now, I've just got this 4.7 which is a little less exciting than the MC Cabrio I had, but when you give it the beans it makes a lovely noise.
So, in summary, if you can only afford to run the 4.2 then you won't be disappointed. But if you've had a 4.7 I can't imagine going back to a 4.2. I don't buy in so much to those that are a bit snarly about the 4.2 - that's just a bit of snobbishness in my opinion.
