Hi Rob
Great to see it back on tv. Best form of racing there is and the Clipsal 500 is one of the best.I've put a note in the Motorsports page in Gassing.
Looking forward to the rest of the season. Looks like a few more tapes will have to be acquired.

Wayner g'day mate
saw your little piece egging on Mr.Skaife. Oh dear, looks like you should have shouted a bit louder.
Now let me see..where is he, erm....9,10,11,oh yeah there he is, 15th. Seems an eternity since I told him "well done" on his latest win and he wrote back, "thanks mate". Sorry Wayne, but I don't think he'll do it again this year.Neither will Murph. Glad you had a good time back home. Can't see me going this year..or next damn it,but I'll keep hoping.

Skaifey was right on the pace until he went off, yes I know twice. the rain did make it interesting.

HRT will be hack up the front again soon !!

At least the Holdens went well, the win and 6 in the top 8.

Hi Rob
Seen the grid for this weekends race at Pukekohe? Brighty got the pole and the two HRT cars are third and fourth. Skaifey finally got his car near the front,on the second row right behind JB. Ambrose took second spot. Two more Commodores are 5th & 6th.Looks like another good scrap.

G,day QldMick yeap i,ll soon be heading home for Adelaide this coming November for good been here 7 years too long and yes EHROB is jealous as hell as he,s dyin to get beck as well! when i was home and seeing oh a VS HSV parked at the loacl deli and then ya go down the Servo to get the paper and a GTS VT pulls up grumbilin V8 and and ya look at the blue blue warm sky and no conjestion and ya think yeap theres no place like home, whilst a Rosella flys up too the gumtrees, other main reasons for movin back as well is the Family.Theres a VT V6 Commy awaiting when i arrive so no Holden worries there.Yes I know Skaife mite have blown it this year, but theres quite a few races to go so lets see what happens?Remember to catch it on channel Five soon.l8trz Skip Mids! ;-)

Hi Wayne
Nobody likes a smart ar.. Good luck to ya mate, bet I wish I was going more than EHRob does.
Where have you been lately? have you read your e-mails?
I sent you one on 28/4.I thought you may have been back home as you haven't been on this site.I need to speak to you, perhaps i'll phone tomorrow night, let me know if you'll be out.
Looks like V8 Supercars will be between Ambrose and Brighty but as you say it's early days yet.
This new Torana what's it based on, not another Commodore or Monaro? theres another new Monaro on Holdens web site CV8R i think,it's a one colour job.
Keep in touch mate.
Mick

G'Day Paul,

The V8 Supercar, write up looks good mate, but it loaded on top of the VX GT Monaro, which made reading it a little hard.

All the best,
Rob.

Yes a bad weekend for HRT again and it's going to be a tough job for Skaifey to get the title back, but the team will get their cars sorted out soon.

Jason Bright is going great guns this year, but I still think, Greg Murphy in the Kmart Holden & Steven Richards in the Castrol Perkins Motorsport Holden will be up there as well. The only Ford to be a worry for the Holden boys is the Ambrose car, again.

Catch ya L8R,
Rob,

I reckon the "888" Fords are looking a bit worrying as well!
They seem to be running pretty quick at most meetings!
Mr Skaife has a quick car, just seems to be a bit unlucky at times as well as making a few little mistakes!!

Hi Rob
His name's Ambrose. Your mate Skaifey is only 278pts behind in 16th.There's a long way to go yet mate. I still think JB will be up near the top.He looks the best bet for Holden this year.
Don't forget that drink mate.I'll meet you somewhere between Soton and W'ville.I'll try not to go on about the opposition and i'll bring you a Tooheys or Carlton Cold stubbie.
