Out if intrest if Brutus was sold via finance is there some sort of comeback on the finance company as the dealer has sold a car that they didn't own???
Does anyone know where the car is now? If I was the new owner I would be seriously unimpressed & genuinely worried about the whole situation.

problem is new owner has done nothing wrong and if bought in good faith, no one can get the car back off them. the problem is with the SOR agreement. sounds wrong but that's the facts. the buyer is an innocent 3rd partyDoes anyone know where the car is now? There may be one way the new owner could help if he paid any of the transaction by credit card. If he disputed the transaction and the bank agree with his case he will get all money back then nost could let him keep the dealers commission for his trouble? I'm not sure how the bank would view it, but may be an avenue to try if the buyer comes forward at any point. Some debit cards also have some protection.

But there are threads on here about someone buying a car and then finding out its stolen and the police taking the car away , surely this is the same thing ? Lost soul said:

This VXR8 Bathurst was for sale with this snake. Saw it on ebay It disappeared early last week. Car seems to be for sale at a Essex Vauxhall dealership now. Maybe the seller realised he was dealing with a shark. Maybe took the car back and drove it away. Maybe he read what we were writing here..
Good for him.
