I always thought I'd change the Ro for a VXR8. However, after seeing the numbers of gen-f's sold (and seeing more pics of them) I think I would skip the vxr8 and go for one of them.
Other than than that, the usual suspects of C/E63 AMG, RHD Mustang and XFR.
My dear chap - the XFR is ok if you switch everything off, go tip-tronic and switch on the sport ride, otherwise a little boring!!! Basic with no electronics and manual for me - so a struggle!!! Other than than that, the usual suspects of C/E63 AMG, RHD Mustang and XFR.

Given that I stepped into the Monaro scene because I love muscle cars, I've been wondering what I'd buy from the more recent offerings from the motor industry. A new Gen-F variant is an obvious choice, so avoiding them what would you chose?
For me, an orange Dodge SRT-8 Challenger looks perfect
Trouble with all this new Muscle stuff it all looks a bit hairy chested & medallion & the old stuff is best to look at , admire & walk away For me, an orange Dodge SRT-8 Challenger looks perfect
I speak from experience with both , the medallion is available just for you though as I no longer need it with the heartless Gtr ;-)

I much prefer a manual (hence why I drive the car I do), but as most modern cars are auto-only, choice is limited. But the great thing with people having different opinions is that there are plenty of different cars to choose from- everyone can be happy

You need to put that medallion on ebay with a daft buy-it-now before I go for it. Along with that green UTE (remembering to remove the engine and box first).I speak from experience with both , the medallion is available just for you though as I no longer need it with the heartless Gtr ;-)
If I could have anything it would be my dads old '72 Chevelle. Orange with black rallye stripes. 'CHEVY METAL' on the number plate. I think I was about 10 when he had it. Left a lasting impression. Recently found the current owner on Facebook, still so ugly it's beautiful. Running a 502, mad, bad and dangerous to know.
Everything a muscle car should be!

The Bently isn't a muscle car. A very worthy car I'm sure it is but it is a premium grand tourer. Similarly the VXR8 isn't one either, thunder saloon perhaps.
The proper definition of a muscle car is cheap horse power for the masses, simple construction, unsophisticated, big engine squeezed into a small(ish) coupe chassis etc.
Hopefully if the Mustang is priced fairly it will be a true Muscle car, and the first RHD since the Monaro. 350BHP for £24K certainly was.
Remember the song "fast car" by Tracy Chapman.
Love the Charger of course.

Same here but in black, saw one down at the wilton breakfast and it looked so good with a subtle amount of gold pin sriping, flek in the paint it just looked right. For me, an orange Dodge SRT-8 Challenger looks perfect
