I suppose I can't complain as with no real speed limit here I can flex the Utes muscles without getting a fine like you guys would in the U.K driving

Me? Utes running Pedders coil overs at the mo with a new set to go on the rear as one has a small leak. The Mountain road can be really fast an deceiving too, a road to be respected.

She’s home! What a machine. So much fun, feels much more raw and untamed than my old Monaro. Big thanks to MWP, made the whole experience an absolute pleasure.

Just though I would update this thread as I’ve done some work to the Ute.
I’ve fitted new suspension! Vastly improved.
New big brake kit on its way too

Today’s mod. Aerpro facia kit and stereo upgrade. Also replaced door speakers with two way 6.5” and an underseat active sub. Another massive difference to how the truck feels to use.

Thanks for sharing that, it was something I was considering, but silly though it sounds I thought the HVAC screen at the bottom had a really naff looking font / style, and hadn't seen this alternative view that's clearly available. That doesn't look too aftermarket at all, perhaps something I'll add to the wagon scratchchin

It’s I nice bit of kit, probably nicer quality feel than standard (hardly difficult 🤭) ordered from eBay seller David Brash. Delivery took just over a week which was fantastic! Slightly misunderstood the small print though and now need an extra lead if I want the steering wheel volume button the work.

And………… I fitted a genuine front splitter. It’s a four piece kit. The two corner pieces, the centre part that caps the bumper up to the lower grill and then the part behind the number plate. Fitted perfectly

Iiiinteresting, look forward to some more pics / seeing it in person some time smile

There's a meet in Wakefield on the 17th July, I don't know if you're that way at all or like to travel? I'm 2 hours away but thought I'd head up as it's been AGES since I've been to any Holden meets.

Thanks very much for the invite! Unfortunately Wakefield is three and a half hours away so a bit too far for a car meet, the trouble with living in Norfolk…..

on the car meet question , there is VBOA at Seywell aerodrome 2,3,4 of july , not in theory as far from Norfolk , a museum a few war birds often fly , an evening show , food stalls , camping or local hotels , it’s a good show i’ve been going for years

The brakes upgrade is going well, one side done but scuppered by a rusted fitting. New pipe being made tomorrow so hopefully will be bedding in over the weekend
