High speed, long bend butt clenching seems to be down mainly to tyres. Try a couple of extra PSI and feel the difference. Must agree the CV8 seems to like OEM tyres more so than others.
When abroad a few months ago, the straight line handling at high speeds was fine, as was the braking, however at 140+ I did get a floaty sensation, but more so from the rear than the front wheels. Never doubted the front will go where i point it, just a little worried about the rear (overtaking the front........)
As posted previously these cars (in pretty much standard form) are GT's - wouldn't expect them to handle like a track car without some serious mods.
(bring on Roger to list em......!)
BTW Roger - Any news?

I was going to ask about the peddars - so it works with the lining?
Have looked up a fair amount - and some reckon makes it a hard ride
Having looked up the info on the aussie forums I am dicounting the pedders due to the potential harsh ride quality for my personal use (they may well be good for others however)

Pedders supply more than 1 damper type and hence different damping rates.

Thier firmest dampers are indeed way to hard for our conditios. We dont sell them. Unless someone specifically asks. We try everything on one of our cars before we offer it, and as a result decided not to use the firm ones.

But, these things are subjective hence my offer to drive the demonstrator. If it turns out not to be for you, fine. If it is, then you know exactly what your getting for your money before you spend it.

Sadly, not everything you read on the internet is true!

No spoiler (might this make a difference?)

Yep, the difference is enormous. Your bootlid won't get scuffed to bits by a heavy lump of plastic which is badly 'bolted' on.
Oi - thats an extra 10 HP that is smile

Seriously though - anyone else get light steering at speed?
I have an HSV ute and this does get very light at high speeds, however, in New Zealand I had Pirelli's on it and it felt firmer than with the Dunlop's its now got. It's going in to Monkfish to have urethane bushes (amongst other things, to stop the very bad axle tramp I get) in front and back and I'll be interested to see what the difference is at both ends. I'm not sure if the HSV shocks are firmer than the Monaros' anyway so I'm leaving them for now, one change at a time.

I did not find a lot of difference between your demo and mine with the AVO's - df not too hard, too low possibly but not too hard.
