Yes mate,

Hope we can get a few more Holden fans notice this site and come forward.

I have heard some talk about a new Torana V6 maybe on the way.

Regards,
Rob.

Hi Rob
Wouldn't want to decide between a Monaro HQ and an A9X.
The HQ has all the right dimensions for a muscle car but the Torana has a 5ltr in a '74 Vauxhall Victor body,...wow! A9Xs can be a bit expensive for their age although the SLR5000 is a reasonable alternative. Considering what you get for the money,it would have to be an HQ bearing in mind you can pick some of them up for around $12K AUD. And what about the HGs and HKs?
Re: the Unique Cars it sounds like you've got the issue I mentioned earlier. Is it #230 Dec 24th-Feb 5th?
It should have a blue Mustang on the cover with the caption 'Pony Express'.I know about Australian Muscle Car and have often thought about getting it on sub.but UCs costs $107 pa and I would like to get Motor,Just World Cars and Wheels as well, where does it end,so I just stick to one mag.The beauty of UCs is that it has loads of RHD Yanks, classic Brits and some strange hybrids like fifties Brits made into utes. This is besides all the Aussies ancient and modern.
Have to meet up for a drink and a chat about all things Aussie. qldmick@ntlworld.com

G'Day Mick,

Ya your right mate, both A9X & The old Monaro's are special in there own way, but the A9X although very pricy do it for me. I think it's because I remember as a school boy whatching the great races between Brocky, Bob Morris & Alan Grice in the A9X torana's and the way in which the A9X totaly dominated the 1978 & 79 ATC Championship. I think the Opel Manta looks like the LH & LX Torana.

I have lent the UC mag to a friend, but I think it is the same one, I got it in Jan.

Got yor e-mail address so I'm drop you a line soon so we can meet up for a chat about the good old daus with Holdens.

Are you from Queensland ? I'm from Gosford Central Coast NSW. My Mum & dad live not far from Gosford,in Wyong where Skaifey's parents live.

Catch ya L8R,
Rob.

Hi Rob
I'm a 'cockney' as English as fish n chips but a total Aussiephile. For that reason i can be totally unbiased towards either Holden or Ford. Whereas you have to favour just one of them,I love 'em all.Tell you more when I see you.
Did you know that Brocky has started up a race school in Bahrain using Monaros!!! A guy at work saw it on Motors TV last week.
Speak to you L8tr mate.
