Morning all Right i'm off now on my big adventure to the Fishpond, then to Stig and Sarahs and then to you lot at SRR tomorrow WOO HOO I'm a bit excited, i even feel a bit sick. But in a good way. Anyway this is my last post until i get home to my long suffering Col. So drive safe and see ya there

My plans for dyno domination have been blown out of the water by belt slip.

It seems the motor comes 'on cam' and accelerates so hard it leaves the blower behind. Mark has tried every combination of pulley but cannot put the boost up beyond 8psi. As of this afternoon it's still making just over 520hp at the wheels.

Plenty more in there but it will require a 8 or 10 rib belt and better tensioner for me to see it.

I'm gutted but there's little point me driving such a long way & paying to prove what I already know so I'm going to drop out.

Sorry, but I'll have to kick your arses next time.

I was really looking forward to it and meeting some of you guys but that's life I guess.

Seeing as yours isn't finished either I think we should sort out another one for later in the year, that way some of the other guys with unfinished projects like Jez and Munky can also take part? Mark's got a mobile dyno so perhaps we could all go to an airfield somewhere for a bit of VMax....just a thought. If you like I'll sort it out with him and Nicola, the truck will be at the pod (amongst other places) quite a lot this year?
