Gas_man, we could meet up just off M4/J18 (layby about 400 yards off the junction on A46 North) or at Leigh Delamere services (SN14 6LB just before M4/J17).

We could then trundle along to meet up with global-i and stigmundfreud just off M4/J16, J15 or further along at Membury Services (RG17 7TZ between M4/J15 and J14) - depending where they would get on.

GoogleMaps reckons about an hour (maybe less) from Membury to Surrey Rolling Road, so if we want to be there before 10AM, we'd need to meet up M4/J18 or Leigh Delamere around 8:15AM and then at M4/J15 or Membury around 8:45 latest?

Lets confirm nearer the time so we know for sure if everyone's going and where we'll meet up.
STIG CAN WE MEET THESE LOT PLEASEbounce COME ON I DONT GET OUT MUCH cry I'll bring lots of beer BEER
if you guys get this can you ring mel to arrange meeting up. I can be at membury 9.

cheers for today Jez, I really enjoyed myself for the short time I was there and met some nice people, including your good self!

A bit disappointed by my own result but my belt slip problems will hopefully soon be rectified for a rematch. Thanks for not taking the piss

nice day and great to see familiar faces and new. Jez/Sophie thanks for the butties and organisation.

Pleased with my fueling, need to sort out why timing was pulled at the top end but the surprise of the day was for Mel who it turns out had a car that was mapped prior to buying it!!

wow, Harry's has lost 100hp since last time? Good result Richard, would have liked to have talked more but I had to travel to dorset. Wife had to drive and I had to sit in the back because my car makes the women car sick! Good fun and I cannot wait until the next one.

Not all dude, I laid waste to a few. Tinker's healthy 427 got over 460bhp so I think only 2 FI guys beat him. Martin aka Global-i pipped me by 0.7bhp with his supercharged, forged and cammed LS1. But he is in trouble next time.

Give me some more time to sort my tune out and the only person in front will be HarryOz... and maybe Jez. But then trying to beat guys with 427's AND twin turbo's will be a bit much of an ask.

You of course may well be one of the chosen Mr Munky. But you have to be there to win smile

Oh my numbers were on good old Sainburies Unleaded 95 octane. None of this expensive 98 stuff for me wink Waste of good camshaft funds!

Have to agree with all the other comments...a great day and it was good to meet so many of you!!

Thanks to Jez and Sophie for sorting the event, the tea and the great bacon sarnies! Sorry you got worked so hard there Soph, but you did a fantastic job mate!! You must learn to stitch up one of us to help out if there is a next time wink

Great job by Charlie and the SRR guys for working their bocensoredcks off testing all our cars, Gareth for sorting the badges, without which I'd never have figured out who was who and Rich for collating the stats for everyone!

Finally, thanks to Paul Spinks for sorting my map out. Didnt get chance to do it until after the run and it might only be good for another 25BHP but on the way home it certainly felt crisper on acceleration and pick-up than before so thanks very much for that!!

Some people seemed pleased with their results, some a little disappointed (including me) and I could have sworn Mel had to change her undies just before her run she was so nervous, but all in all a fun day with lots of great people!

Looking forward to Shakey now, so hopefully see most of you there!

Chris, if you decide to do a Goodwood, gimme a shout so I can figure out if I can join you!

thumbup everyone
