Below are a few messages from Kyles dad, whom i have been in touch with via facebook.

I sent links to the 2 threads, and regards to a collection for Kyle and Emma's unborn child.

"Thank you all so much for your kind words and gesture that would be a lovely thing to do for her and the baby Emma was sat here with us when we received your message and she was so touched it means so much to all of us how much everybody thought about Kyle and cared about him he was our world we miss him dearly."

"If you keep the other PH ers informed that would be great the police are closing the road week for us to lay flowers the funeral is going to be a celebration of Kyles life so no black clothing is aloud he was a great son and we all miss him"

have you asked when and where the funeral will be and whether or not they wish to keep it private? Pretty sure a few on here may try to attend if possible.

re their wish for it to celebrate his life, I sadly have already attended the funeral of one of the members on here and had to restrain myself from laughing out loud when they brought in the coffin to the theme from top gear - it was just perfect for occasion and the man in question. Although a sad event that set the mood for the day and his friends and colleagues were able to give him the send off he'd have wanted.

Very sad news to hear this.
A member of the corvette community passed away recently and the club had a parade of cars at the funeral and gave a V8 salute as the funeral party passed by.

As far as setting something up for the family and unborn child there is the option of premium bonds

Thanks you all for your kind words, they have been very humbling as Kyle was so well loved and respected.

This is the information on the funeral and the road closure, although we do not have times for the cosure just yet.

We will be celebrating the life of my best mate Kyle Stock on Thursday 7th June at 3:30 at St Pauls Church Birkenshaw. Then on to the Gomersal Park Hotel afterwards.

As this is a celebration, bright, smart, casual clothes are requested. Jeans t-shirt/shirt are fine. NO black please.

If people coming could please contact myself by phone (07809475354) or on facebook (Luke Maud) as we do need an estimate on numbers.

There will also be a road closure on Wednesday 6th June for anyone who would like to pay their respects at the scene. Again we need an estimate of numbers of people heading up there with us all.

I have spoken directly with GSD2000 and believe at present it maybe nice to see who would like to donate but wait until Emma feels able to setup a bank account or similar. I will be seeing the ffamily again today so will keep everyone updated. A big thanks to you all and gsd, for the support.

Hi You PHers its Kyles dad Bryan sorry to shock any of you I'd just like to thank all of you for the very kind words of support at this tragic time for us and emma his partner.
Kyle loved his Monaro and all of his other cars from his 1.0 corsa/sri/skyline and his bike, which he bought even though we didnt want him to and he kept it a secret for two months ,but you couldnt be mad with him ever as he was a genuine straight up guy.
We have read some of the posts that youve put on and they are amazing its true to say that he was taken too early as some may know he was in the forces and served in IRAQ and then went onto do Bomb Disposal in Northern Ireland still lots happening there we dont here about and then to Afghanistan again as bomb disposal. He was an all round good guy if you saw the posts on facebook you would also see this the general concesous was he was an all round good guy who alway had time for everyone
Anyway thats all from me but anyone who does want to come and pay thier respects please see the post by maudyz28

I too have just been catching up with this thread.
Although I never met him my thoughts are also with Kyle's family and friends.
Back 1991 whilst serving, I lost my best friend Paul just weeks after he returned from deployment in the first Gulf War and in very similar circumstances.
I understand how difficult it is deal with.
Losing him whist he was in the prime of his life and seemingly untouchable by anything. But the pride you feel for him now will never leave.
After 21 years I still feel the same way about Paul as you do and will about Kyle.
I wish you all the best through this dreadful time and as my ole' sgt-major used to say
"keep yer chin up and yer elbows in son"

Such kind words, and so true. He achieved so much in his short life, and all his friends and family are immensely proud. Can't see that ever changing.

12 might be a little early mate, should be just over 1 1/2 hours from scotch corner (it is 68miles from there )

si was thinking of going down the m6 ?, think the m1 will be quicker.

M1 is the best route. Thought we could meet for lunch and give ourselves plenty of time.
