Block has been honed, everything balanced & new parts have arrived; just waiting for Mark to put it all together hopefully very, very soon. I've been promised pictures which I will publish.

Cannot ride my bike because of my arms so I'm catching the bus at the moment. Cannot wait to get it back!

Excellent video, as a person that just loves that place and go once a year every year I have to say that was a good drive. Mind you, I wonder what times he could post when he dosen't have the ring all to himself, i.e. the odd bus in the way.

Did you notice the revs, at times when he changed up the revs went way above 6,400 so no doubt they disconected the "safe Mode" that shuts my motor down!

Still in my case I have found the problem at last, it is throttle delay (1sec) and not the flywheel that I had wrongly diagnosed before.

Must have a word about that some time Richard.

I know mine will have the power. What I really meant was the bloke's driving ability in a fairly low-tech car was mighty impressive. If you look carefully he catches a couple of 120mph+ slides hence my "balls of steel" comment.

Assuming something hasn't been badly miscalculated (doubtful as I'm led to believe Pete Knight knows his stuff) or it bursts into flames on the dyno, I'm confident Odyssey will be somewhere between Harry's ridiculous TT creation and Richard's ambitious (if misguided) NA efforts .

Notice how even with all that power he runs out of steam at about 175mph.

Still got the same crappy gearing as us

Sorry Pete, I don't know the details, I thought the cam grind was done/specified by you. Mark at Rapid is building it.
