LS9 sodium filled 1.59" exhaust valves into LS3/L92 heads
Discussion
What's involved, they are the same height valve, however require lower height retainer locks that require LS9 only retainers and LS9 only springs stock or custom. Advantages bit lighter better heat dispersal. Installed height 1.78 vs 1.8
Would mean different valve train components on exhaust side if used with LS3 hollow inlet valves?

I guess if you want the sodium filled exhaust valves you have to get the titanium inlets too

Double spring kit from BTR 309US$

I doubt normally aspirated will have the issues the LS7 / LS9 have had witth worn valve guides, but you would need LS9 valve guides also all the same?

Here are some weights I've seen online,
LS7 titanium inlet valve 77g
LS7 exhaust valve - 72~74g
LS7 REV exhaust valve - 98g
LS7 titanium exhaust valve - 66g
LS9 titanium inlet valve - <77g
LS9 hollow sodium filled valve - <74g
LS3 hollow stem inlet valve - 89~91g
L92 inlet valve - 106~109g
LS3/L92 exhaust valve 90g
Manley 11620 solid inlet valve - 119g
Manley 11621 solid exhaust valve - 92g
When fitting new valves, should you lap them, re cut the seats, just drop them in? I've seen conflicting views online!

What's the rationale for all of this Andy?
Are you just doing exhaust or both.
BTW BTR are $25 each.
I still have spec'd cam ~.631 lift, and LS3 hollow stems waiting to fit when I eventually get home, maybe next year, just something while the heads are off, I have a collection of parts mounting up. If I buy the parts now, the wife wont notice lolAre you just doing exhaust or both.
