National meet , nc500 run
Discussion
Who is up for doing the nc500 for the national meet this year?
Spoke to roger, think the best time to do it would be in june/early july
before it gets to busy.
If you are interested put your name down and preferences for what weekend to go as we will need to get accommodation sorted a.s.a.p
1) paul450 , no preference just need my car back first

Have been looking at this again. I usually do the NC500 during the last weekend in August/first weekend in September. The first Monday in September should hopefully be a “Holiday Monday” for all of us. That would give us more time to plan and hopefully avoid most of our already arranged Summer Holiday plans. Weather is still good and roads less busy. My usual routine is to head to Stirling for the Thursday night and then drive up to Portree on Skye for the Friday night. Saturday morning drive round Skye and then head up to Ullapool for the Saturday night taking in The Pass of the Cattle on the way. Sunday head north to Durness and then cut down from Tongue to Lairg and spend Sunday night in Inverness. Monday takes in The Cairngorms and back to Stirling and beyond! This misses out the far north east section, but to be honest it’s no great loss! Have done this route for years. Hope this helps.
