cool

Discovered today that the VXR8 centre arm rest slides forward to cover the cup-holders if you want to hide anything that you put in there. Hadn't perviously noticed this in several months of ownership... scratchchin ... duh! loser

Next you'll be telling me that you never knew there's a button behind the central rear headrest that drops the centre section of the rear seat completely, or you never knew about the 'stealth mode' night time dash display...
Yes I will (to both!) smile

What is the "stealth mode" night display? type

I'd be interested in the heated mirrors too. It's not the 1980's after all (despite what the lack of RDS on the head unit might suggest). smash

Gary - I actually found the "self cranking" feature at the weekend as my thumb slipped off of the key just as I was turning it. smile

Will need to try the extra info trick too now. laugh

Well I can confirm that all of Gary's hidden features do work, although I recommend NOT entering Engineering Mode and telling it to perform a self-test whilst doing 50mph unless someone has already told you that you just press it again to exit self-test mode. whistle

Hi,
It's a pity that the self cranking thing is not on the Monaro,is it usual for the engine to become very difficult to start if your fingers slip off during starting.
Normal for all cars as you've just squirted a dod of unburnt of fuel into the cylinders.
