Further to my ranting in the Pirelli or not to Pirelli Topic.
Will, mentioned that wider wheels were not available in the U.K. I could well be wrong, but I think that Ronal Wheels supplied by www.advancedautosport.com may fit HSV's.(click on the PERFORMANCE picture then WHEELS)
When fitting wider wheels on a previous car, I had the rear arches ground down & the trim refitted,this stopped any rubbing. Guess this could be done to our cars as well.

In the past, I have had the offset machined down on a pair of rear wheels. Basically just skimmed off a few mm.
Just depends on how keen you are for wider wheels as you might find some that will fit with a bit of work. Must be some available in Aus./USA?
