Hi Guys, as per the title ,my starting problem has been now linked to the in tank fuel pump ,bleeding down fuel line pressure back into the tank.
New pumps for the later,in boot fuel tank seem to be easily and fairly cheap available, circa £200.
However, I'm struggling to find the correct pump for my early CV8 2004.
Can anyone help?
Simon.

The pressure pops straight up to around 60psi at the manifold end, then rapidly drops.
You can assist starting by turning the key for a second, then turning it back, and then back on.But that only helps to prime for starting, the pressure drops right off and the whole engine, every cylinder runs weak.

The fuel pressure drops off, dramatically within moment of turning the engine over.
So,a fuel check valve issue?

Turn the ignition on,pump works, the Fuel pressure goes up to 60 psi and then drops off very rapidly ,before you even turn the engine over.AAS diagnosed issue with in tank pump.
It a large boot car,it's Not US spec,so presumably Rock Auto won't have the pump assembly I need?
The engine is running weak on both banks and all plugs show weak mixture.
I can see stuff in Oz eBay ,but it's difficult to be absolutely sure ,it's the right assembly.
I've been quoted £500 from Walkinshaw, for the pump, but even they may need to get one from Oz.
