hello guys,

as an avid fan of the STI and two previous STI's i have finally succumbed to the V8. Have to say, loving every minute in it. However, few questions./ Anyone know where i can get some holden badges so i get rid of the vauxhall ones.

Also, i had my scoob extensively moidified and thinking of going down the same lines. What is a good strating mod with these things and does it influence the warrenty?? cheers

cheers for the advice. Think the basic upgrade with the ECU remap is a good start. I would hope that a simple ecu remap wouldnt affect the warrenty??

If anyone is selling an after market exhaust i am alsways on the look out. anything to here that noise a little better!

what a friendly bunch! Have a CV8 2004 standard at the moment. I know what you mean about setting a budget. Modding cars is contagiously addictive. Did a fair bit on my scoobs, very low key abd managed it relatively cheaply using second hand parts. Caspy, not offended by comment, everyone can always learn something! Especially not used to the lively tail.

cheers for advice

you are all sadly deluded. Obvioulsy someone on here has been filtering miss information. It is a known fact and well documented throughout the literature that red is indeed the quickest colour. Its all to do with the fact that red paint moluecules adhere closer together and therfor have a lower drag co-efficient of .......
