Rear Lights

I was thinking of replacing the rear light clusters on my Yellow 05 CV8 with the Black VXR type. I think they might look better on this than the standard.

But, bit of a problem. I have it on good authority that Vauxhall will not supply VXR bits to CV8 owners. Any VXR bits that are ordered, are cross referenced through chasis numbers to ensure that they are going on a genuine VXR.

Understandable as they are keen to protect the brand name and I guess they only have a certain amount of spares allocated.

So, I'm wondering where I might be able to get a set that is as close in design to the original VXR type as possible. I guess that I may have to search the Aus forums, but I haven't a clue where to start.

If anybody has any ideas, I'd be most grateful.

They look great on your car. I've seen some that just look plain tacky and I'm trying to keep as near to the Holden design as poss. I think that the black will compliment the rear end of mine a bit better - Well I think they will, 'er indoors is a bit sceptical...

Well after Rob gave me some pointers in where to go, I also found these;

Very, very similar to the VXR/HSV type I think.
